What things do I have to do to become a Fitness Trainer? I have no idea what subjects to take in high school to become a personal trainer and perhaps a nutritionist. The only subjects available to me at present are Food for Fitness and Food and Nutrition. They do not seem to be adequate for a career in the fitness industry.
At present I am 15 years old but am really keen to make a career in fitness and nutrition so any guidance for my subject choices would be appreciated.

I have a son who is keen to get into the fitness world but I am finding it very confusing trying to pick my way through it all. Would someone be able to give me succinct outline of what is required, what it might cost and what is the best qualification to obtain.
Thanks

Football fitness training is crucial for a player to run around the field for a full ninety minutes. The fitter team can play a faster paced game. Stamina training for football (soccer) is just one part of getting and remaining fit. Every footballer needs to be able to sprint and accelerate quickly and he also requires strength to win and keep the ball. Warm-up is an essential part of injury prevention, and promotes agility.

Is there any definitive way that you can measure fitness. Although everyone talks about the need to be fit – what is fitness really?
Are there any useful measurements or calculations related to with height and weight that are easy to understand and perform?
